Candidate Privacy Policy
1. Purpose and Scope
Brickell Ridge Talent Partners, LLC (“Brickell Ridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Florida-based direct-hire recruitment and talent advisory firm. This Candidate Privacy Notice explains how Brickell Ridge collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information about candidates and prospective candidates.
This Notice applies when you contact Brickell Ridge, are contacted by Brickell Ridge, submit a résumé or other professional information, apply or express interest in an opportunity, are referred to us, participate in a screening or interview process, or otherwise interact with us in connection with potential permanent employment opportunities.
Brickell Ridge recruits for permanent roles located in Florida and California. Client organizations may be headquartered elsewhere in the United States. Brickell Ridge is not the employer for positions presented to candidates unless expressly stated otherwise. The client organization makes all final hiring and employment decisions.
This Notice does not create an employment contract, guarantee representation, guarantee that you will be presented for a role, or guarantee placement or employment.
2. Information We Collect
Brickell Ridge may collect personal information reasonably necessary to identify, evaluate, communicate with, and present candidates for potential permanent employment opportunities.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
Name, professional name, pronouns if voluntarily provided, contact information, mailing address, and general location.
Résumé, curriculum vitae, professional profile, work history, job titles, employer history, education, certifications, licenses, skills, qualifications, professional accomplishments, and career objectives.
Compensation information, including current compensation if voluntarily provided, compensation expectations, desired compensation, benefits preferences, and other job-related preferences.
Work-location preferences, remote-work preferences, travel availability, relocation considerations, notice period, availability, work authorization information when relevant, and eligibility to work in the United States when relevant to a specific role.
Information provided during screening conversations, interviews, reference-related discussions, candidate assessments, and communications with Brickell Ridge.
Information contained in publicly available professional sources, such as professional networking profiles, public portfolios, websites, publications, and other publicly available professional information.
Information received from referrals, former colleagues, professional contacts, job boards, résumé databases, client organizations, and service providers.
Records of communications, including email, telephone, text, video, scheduling, and interview-related communications.
Information necessary to maintain the security and operation of our website, systems, and services, such as device, browser, log, and network information when collected through those systems.
Brickell Ridge does not seek to collect sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for a lawful, job-related purpose or you voluntarily provide it. Do not provide information that is not relevant to a potential employment opportunity.
3. How We Use Information
Brickell Ridge may use candidate personal information to:
Communicate with you about Brickell Ridge and potential permanent employment opportunities.
Assess your qualifications, experience, interests, availability, compensation expectations, work-location alignment, and potential fit for a specific role.
Identify and discuss potential opportunities that may be relevant to your professional background and stated interests.
Conduct candidate screening, prepare candidate profiles, coordinate interviews, support offer-stage communications, and provide post-placement follow-up.
Obtain your authorization before presenting your résumé, profile, or other candidate information to a client.
Respond to questions, requests, concerns, feedback, and privacy-related inquiries.
Maintain internal recruiting, search-administration, business-development, recordkeeping, security, legal-compliance, and dispute-resolution records.
Protect the security, integrity, and lawful operation of our systems, records, and services.
Comply with applicable laws, legal obligations, contractual obligations, lawful requests, investigations, audits, and dispute-resolution processes.
Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. Sources of Information
Brickell Ridge may obtain candidate information from:
You directly, including through a résumé, website form, email, telephone call, text message, interview, screening conversation, or other communication.
Professional networking platforms, job boards, résumé databases, public websites, professional portfolios, publications, and other publicly available professional sources.
Referrals and professional contacts.
Client organizations and their authorized representatives.
Service providers that support recruiting, communication, scheduling, data storage, or related business functions.
References or former employers only when you provide authorization or when otherwise permitted by applicable law.
5. How We Share Information
Brickell Ridge may share candidate personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice.
We may share information with:
Authorized Brickell Ridge personnel and representatives with a legitimate business need to access the information.
Client organizations considering you for a specific role, but only after Brickell Ridge receives your authorization to present you for that role.
Service providers that support business operations, including providers of email, cloud storage, customer relationship management, applicant tracking, scheduling, document management, communications, security, and other technology or administrative services.
Professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, and consultants, when reasonably necessary for legitimate business, legal, insurance, compliance, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Government agencies, courts, regulators, law-enforcement authorities, or other parties when required by law, legal process, or a lawful request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Brickell Ridge, candidates, clients, or others.
A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
Brickell Ridge does not sell candidate personal information. Brickell Ridge does not share candidate personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Candidate Authorization Before Presentation
Brickell Ridge will obtain your authorization before presenting your résumé, professional profile, or other candidate information to a client for a specific role.
Your authorization may be documented by email, text message, electronic signature, secure-form submission, recorded confirmation where permitted by law, or another reasonable written or electronic method.
Authorization to discuss an opportunity does not necessarily authorize Brickell Ridge to submit your information to the client. Presentation authorization will be confirmed separately.
7. Confidential Searches
Some searches are confidential. In those circumstances, Brickell Ridge may initially withhold the client’s identity and certain identifying information during outreach or early screening.
Unless otherwise agreed with the client or required by the circumstances of a confidential search, Brickell Ridge will generally disclose the client’s identity after a substantive initial screening conversation, preliminary qualification, candidate interest, and authorization for further consideration.
Brickell Ridge may ask you to sign a confidentiality agreement before receiving certain client-identifying or proprietary information for highly sensitive assignments.
8. How Long We Retain Information
Brickell Ridge retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Notice, including recruiting, candidate communication, search administration, placement administration, recordkeeping, legal compliance, contractual obligations, dispute resolution, and protection of our legal rights.

These periods may be extended or modified when necessary to comply with law; preserve information for a legal hold, claim, audit, complaint, investigation, or dispute; meet contractual obligations; administer a placement guarantee; or protect Brickell Ridge’s legal rights.
When personal information is no longer required, Brickell Ridge will securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and internal retention and secure-deletion procedures.
9. Security
Brickell Ridge uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect candidate personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No method of electronic storage, transmission, or security control is completely secure. Use reasonable care when transmitting information electronically and do not send highly sensitive information unless specifically requested through an appropriate secure method.
If Brickell Ridge determines that a security incident requires notice under applicable law, we will provide notice as required by that law.
10. Your Choices and Rights
You may choose not to provide certain information to Brickell Ridge. However, if you do not provide information reasonably necessary to evaluate you for a specific role, Brickell Ridge may be unable to assess your qualifications, discuss the opportunity fully, or present you to a client.
Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
Update or correct inaccurate candidate information.
Stop receiving future opportunity communications.
Withdraw authorization for a future candidate presentation before your information is submitted to a client.
Ask questions about this Notice or Brickell Ridge’s handling of your information.
Request access to, deletion of, correction of, or information about personal information, where available under applicable law.
A request to stop receiving future recruiting outreach does not necessarily require Brickell Ridge to delete information that we must retain for legal, contractual, security, billing, placement-administration, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes.
11. California Privacy Information
This section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, and related regulations apply to Brickell Ridge.
Notice at Collection
At or before the time Brickell Ridge collects personal information from California residents, we may collect the categories of information described in the “Information We Collect” section of this Notice. This may include identifiers, professional and employment-related information, education information, internet or network activity information, communications, and limited sensitive personal information when reasonably necessary for a lawful recruiting purpose.
Brickell Ridge collects and uses this information for the purposes described in the “How We Use Information” section of this Notice, including recruiting, screening, candidate communication, client search administration, candidate presentation with authorization, interview coordination, placement support, legal compliance, security, and dispute resolution.
Brickell Ridge does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Brickell Ridge retains personal information according to the periods and criteria described in the “How Long We Retain Information” section of this Notice.
California Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and verification of your request, California residents may have the right to:
Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information Brickell Ridge has collected about them.
Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal and other exceptions.
Receive information about Brickell Ridge’s collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, if applicable.
Limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information, if applicable.
Be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
Brickell Ridge does not sell or share candidate personal information as described above. Brickell Ridge does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about candidates.
12. How to Submit a Privacy Request
To submit a privacy question or request, contact the Brickell Ridge Talent Partners Privacy Office through either of these methods:

Please include your name, preferred contact information, the nature of your request, and enough information for Brickell Ridge to reasonably verify your identity and locate relevant records.
Brickell Ridge may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. If another person submits a request on your behalf, we may require proof of that person’s authority to act for you and may verify your identity directly.
13. Changes to This Notice
Brickell Ridge may update this Candidate Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in business practices, services, technology, legal requirements, or other relevant circumstances.
When this Notice is updated, Brickell Ridge will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of the Notice.
